Nicolas Ouellet, DMD

My name is Nicolas Ouellet. Originally from Montreal, Quebec; I earned my DMD degree (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from McGill University in 2021. During my time at McGill, I interned at the Montreal General Hospital's chronic pain clinic which sparked my interest in oral and facial pain condition as well as endodontics. Following graduation, I  attended Harvard University for 4 years to pursue a Doctor of Medical science degree (DMSc) as well as my residency in endodontics. My research for my doctoral dissertation was aimed at identifying molecular markers of nerve damage related to the development of root canal infections. This work not only helped me understand the mechanisms behind the pathology and the pain afflicting most of our patients, but it also helped me perfect my diagnostic skills.

Although most of my academic career was spent studying and trying to understand pain, I'm now glad to be part of one of the top Endodontic practices in the country where I can focus on getting my patients out of pain using state of the art technology while maintaining a human and welcoming environment. I really love my profession as well as educating my patients, and I take great pride in every treatment I perform no matter the difficulty. In addition to practicing at Limited to Endodontics, I also teach advanced endodontics to general practitioners at t h e International Dental Institute in Montreal. When I'm not in the clinic or in the classroom, you'll probably find me running by Jamaica Pond or in the kitchen cooking for my friends and family.
