Great case by Dr. Leslie Miller! #12 presented with a previously done root canal and periapical radiolucency. CBCT showed a missed MB canal. Treatment through the existing crown with a small access was possible using a surgical microscope. The buccal canals were treated and the palatal post did not need to be disturbed since there was no lesion associated with the palatal root. ... See MoreSee Less

This patient presented with a sinus tract tracing to #5. Root canal therapy was done and the sinus tract resolved. At 2 years, the sinus tract appeared again. A CBCT was taken and surgery was decided to be the treatment of choice. The root was resected, prepared and bioceramic root repair material was used. 6 month recall shows healing.
