Financial Policy

Financial Policies for those without Dental Insurance and for Insurance Initial Payments

We take great care to explain the fees for our services to our patients, as well as confirm the estimated insurance coverage you may have for endodontic therapy.  We do ask that an initial payment is made when your treatment is started, and the balance is paid on your final visit.  For your convenience we accept cash, checks debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express.

At Limited to Endodontics we feel everyone is entitled to the best dental care available, and that tight finances should not stand in the way of your optimum oral health.  One option we offer as a courtesy to our patients is “Care Credit”. This is a separate line of credit for health care needs. You can apply online at www.carecredit.com or call toll free 1-800-859-9975. Additionally CitiHealth runs a similar program.  Most of these programs are interest free and our front desk staff is more than happy to assist you with the completion of any paperwork involved.

Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made with the doctor who is treating you. If you have questions regarding payment, please contact our billing department at (781) 391-0569 and they will research any insurance questions you may have and explain everything to you clearly and concisely.  Many times, a simple telephone call will clear up any billing concerns you might have. Our goal is to deliver the finest endodontic care at a reasonable cost to our patients.

Financial Policies for those with Dental Insurance and for Insurance Initial Payments

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by the practice regardless of your insurance coverage. At your initial visit our front desk staff will do their best to find out an estimate of what your insurance carrier will pay toward your endodontic therapy.  This estimate is based on your personal dental history.  It takes into account not only what the carrier pays toward treatment in general, but also how much of your dental benefits are remaining for the year, and if deductibles have been met.  Because there are so many variables, the estimate you are given on your first visit is not an exact figure.  Once treatment has been completed and your insurance carrier pays its portion, you may have a balance remaining for which you will be billed.  Conversely, in the event our estimate of your portion of the fee is overstated, our administrative office will automatically send you a reimbursement check for the overpayment.

We will send you a monthly statement so that you are aware of the status of your account. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance from your insurance initial payment, and after your insurance carrier has paid its portion of the bill, is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan through Care Credit or CitiHealth, but that must be done prior to the actual procedure.
